Doublethink is a term introduced by George Orwell in his famous 1984. Wikipedia defines it as to simultaneously believe in two contradictory ideas, without considering the contradiction strange. For example, doublethink is something like saying war is peace, or judging something as insane and ingenious. A slight attack of doublethink can also be spotted in advice offering two completely contradictory outcomes from the same situation: this is a product that needs to be either offered soon to the market or abandoned immediately.
